Barbara Anne Meyer

Barbara Anne Meyer, 71, of Valdosta passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 following a prolonged illness. She was born in Lowndes County on August 11, 1944 to the late Frederick and Anne Eager Meyer. She lived in Quitman for many and after her parents death she moved to the Valdosta area. She as a blessing and friend to all who knew her. Her main goal n life was to please her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and she did that very well.
Survivors include her sister and brother in law, Beth and Thomas Walsh of Bradenton, FL and many cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bucky Meyer and a special friend, Horace "Cowboy" Adams.
Her family greatly appreciates her caregiver, Judy Rolan for all that she did for Anne.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Grace Bible Church with Rev. Rick Hofmeister officiating. Burial will follow in the Elam Cemetery in Brooks County.
