Ashley Donahue

Ashley Donahue, 65, of Valdosta died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Lowndes County on December 6, 1943 to the late Ralph and Evelyn Singletary Donahue and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mr. Donahue owned and operated an auto body repair shop for many years. He enjoyed racing, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Laurie and Lamar Hall, four grandchildren, Curtis Wisenbaker, Lauren Wisenbaker, Brandi Watson and John Hall, four great grandchildren, special friend, Sammy Carter, two sisters and a brother in law, Charlene and Larry Dorminey, Elaine Pittman, the mother of his daughter, Barbara Roberts all of Valdosta and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Hickory Grove Cemetery. Mr. Donahue will lie in state at his residence at 5932 Glenn Road, Valdosta, GA, 31606 from 4pm Friday until service time on Saturday.
