Annie Laura Carter

Annie Laura (Peel) Carter, 93, passed away at Magnolia Manor in Moultrie on Thursday, January 12, 2017. Born in Eufaula, AL on August 15, 1923, to the late Bernard and Lena (Beatty) Peel.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Sharon Carter of Valdosta; grandson Dallas Carter of Valdosta; granddaughter Julie and her husband Guy Rentz of Quitman; granddaughter Tonya and her husband Richard Huite of Moultrie; and granddaughter Kimberly Dean of Lakeland, FL.

Mrs. Carter was preceeded in death by her husband, B. F. Carter, Jr., and her daughter, Connie Carter Rhames.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, January 16, 2017, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta.
