Ann Lahood Joseph

Ann LaHood Joseph, 89, of Valdosta, died on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at her home. Born in Valdosta on May 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late John George LaHood Sr. & Mary Hanna LaHood. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Joseph. She was a treasured wife, devoted mother & grandmother, and a dear friend to many. She blessed countless people through her wonderful cooking, baking and gardening talents. Mrs. Joseph was a charter member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and served the parish faithfully throughout her life.

Survivors include daughters and sons in law Janice Worn, Linda and Bill Rowe of Valdosta; sons and daughters in law, Billy and Janice Joseph of Charlotte, North Carolina, Bobby and Terri Joseph, Paul and Judith Joseph of Valdosta; ten grandchildren and their spouses, William and Mary Catherine Joseph, Jaime Joseph, Kimberly and Wesley Langdale, Stephanie and Steve Watts, Jeff Worn and fiancée Cassie Cherof, Jennifer and Cory Whiddon, Jessi Joseph, Cortni and Jonathan Groover, Stewart Joseph, Wesley Joseph; five great grandchildren; sisters in law, Gonza LaHood of Valdosta; Sadie Joseph of Birmingham, Alabama; Theresa Joseph of Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by a brother, John George LaHood Jr., brothers in law Carlo H. Joseph, and Richard J. Joseph.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church on Saturday, December 27, 2014. Father Fred Nijem will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
