Anita Mock

ANITA MOCK, 64, of Lake Park died Thursday, May 15, 2008 at the Smith Northview Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born in Valdosta on November 23, 1943 to the late Ralph Waldo and Erma Stanley Mock and was a lifelong resident of the area. Miss Mock was a member of the Sardis Baptist Church and retired as a bookkeeper from Leo's TV and Appliances. She enjoyed taking care of children and loved working in the yard.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother in law, Eva Louise and Pasco Mott of Gainesville, Fla., Gwendolyn Mock of Lake Park, three brothers and a sister in law, Charles Mock, Jimmy and Myrtle Mock all of Dasher and Alton Mock of Lake Park, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Sunday, May 18, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Garvey Nichols officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
