Andrea Catherine Rhodes

Andrea Catherine Rhodes, 30, of Naylor, died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Langdale Hospice House after a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. She was born in Atlanta on October 10, 1979. Mrs. Rhodes was a school teacher with the Valdosta City School System and was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Rhodes of Valdosta, her mother, Rosemarie Sapp of Snellville, her father and stepmother, Eli Franklin and Pam Sapp of Tucker and her sister and brother in law, Maria C. and Joshua Franklin of Grayson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at 12:10 p. m. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Dan O'Connell officiating. Burial will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. A rosary will be said at 6 p. m. Monday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8 p. m.
