Amanda Denise Griffin, 21, of Morven, died suddenly Saturday, February 25, 2006 in Moultrie. Born in Hahira, she was a lifelong resident of this area. Amanda was an artist and loved to make crafts. She greatly loved people and animals and loved to travel. She attended Morrison Baptist Church and Morven Church of God and loved her church families. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Robert and Betty Sue Griffin, one brother, Brandon (Bud) Russell Griffin, paternal grandmother, Betty L. Griffin, all of Morven, maternal grandparents, Inez and Ray Croft of Valdosta, Aunts and Uncles, Linda and Bill Yount of Moultrie, Mary Edna Carter of Quitman, Helen Flythe, Danny and Glenda Croft, all of Valdosta, Dorothy and Bobby Wilkins of Hahira, Wendy and Chip Baunoch of Dixie, Rebecca and D. C. Roddey of Valdosta, special friend, Sara Bowman of Morven, numerous cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Irvin Franklin Griffin.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Donnie A. Bentley and Reverend Levi Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Brooks County. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p. m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
