Alfred Deal, III, of Ray City entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Alfred was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 17, 1967 to Alfred Deal, Jr. and Cora McDougald Deal. Alfred was a retired Air Force veteran who served three combat tours to Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. He was an avid baseball player, who loved the Crimson Tide Band and was dedicated to his military team. Alfred enjoyed cookouts, loved spending time with his children, and travelling. Alfred was most importantly a born again Christian.
Alfred is survived by his wife, Lorena Rizo Deal of Ray City; his two daughters, Cora (Alan) Alvarez, of Fort Stewart, and Alicia Deal of New Mexico; his grandchildren, Yolanda Valencia, Arianna Valencia, Aidan Alvarez, all of Fort Stewart, and Jayden Gross, Alana Gross, Lilliana Deal, all of New Mexico; his three brothers, Joe (Cora) Dykes, Michael Dykes, both of North Carolina, and Corey (Jessica) Deal of Valdosta; also survived by three sisters Stephanie Deal, Princess Deal, and Angel Deal and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home, with Mr. Alfred Deal, Jr. officiating.
