Albert H. Rogers

November 13, 1949 — November 15, 2009

Albert H. Rogers, 60, died on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at his home in Lake Park. Born in Valdosta, on November 13, 1949, he was the son of the late Claudius Haygood Rogers and Esther Eloy Peterson Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a graduate of Lowndes High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a mechanic for Roadway Express for over 20 years and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Albert was a member of Lake Park Church of God and he was a loving husband and father who cared deeply for his family.

Survivors are his wife, Libby J. Rogers of Lake Park and a daughter and son in law, Charlotte and Jeremy Becton of Lake Park. He was preceded in death by several half brothers and half sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2009, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Lake Park Church of God. Dr. W. Keith Sandlin will officiate. Burial will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
