Agnes Turner Dorch Mcdade

AGNES TURNER DORCH McDADE, 81, of Valdosta died Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at the Lakehaven Nursing Home. She was born in Valdosta on April 21, 1926 to the late Jimmy Walter and Amanda Duke Turner and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Mrs. McDade was a member of Faith Baptist Church and retired from Strickland Cotton Mills.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Pat and Ron Thompson, a son, Jerry Dorch, a special friend, Delores (Dee) Register all of Valdosta, 8-grandchildren, 16-great grandchildren, 3-great great grandchildren, two sisters, Susie Dowling and Louise Johnson both of Valdosta and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Preston McDade, a son, Tommy L. Dorch, Sr., three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, July 6, 2007 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Pastor Mickey Wisehart officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
