Warren Eric Taylor, 63, of Boston, Georgia, died on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Douglas, Georgia, on June 4, 1954, to Roy Taylor, Sr. and Irma Adams Taylor and has been a resident of this area all of his life. Warren attended ABAC, the University of Georgia and Valdosta State University where he earned his Bachelor's degree, and was retired from the insurance business. He loved boating, grilling out, antiques and being with family and friends. He loved his sons dearly, and loved and missed his four-legged pal, Winston.
Survivors include his two sons, Seth Taylor and Zachary Taylor, both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; his father, Roy E. Taylor, Sr.; a brother, Tony Taylor, Sr. of Lake Park; his sister, Laurie Ann Taylor, of Carrollton, Georgia; three nephews, Trey Taylor, Trent Taylor, and Travis Taylor all of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irma Adams Taylor, and a brother, Roy E. Taylor, Jr.
Services for Warren Eric Taylor will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2017 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Douglas Cemetery in Douglas, Georgia.
