Christopher Milan Cullen, 49, died unexpectedly on June 26, 2013 at his home in Phoenix, Arizona.
Chris was born in Valdosta, Georgia on January 23, 1964. He attended school at St. John the Evangelist, various public schools in Valdosta and Valwood, and he graduated from Valdosta State University. He worked throughout his life in retail in Valdosta, Dallas, New York, and Phoenix.
He was the very much beloved son of William Milan and Maxine Cooper Cullen of Valdosta who predeceased him in May of 2011 and December of 2012.
He is survived by his brothers, William Patrick Cullen (Linda) and Paul Pierce Cullen of Valdosta and by his sister, Theresa Alice Cullen of Athens, eight nieces and nephews also survive him: Sean Patrick Cullen (Lisa) of Kentucky, Kelly Jean Irvine (Jeff) of Kentucky, Erin Michael Cullen (Penny) of California, Courtney Timmons Griffin (Tim) of Oklahoma, Catherine Timmons Levy (Ben) of Georgia, Cullen McReynolds Timmons of Virginia, Lauren Theresa Cullen of Maine, and Donald Milan Cullen of Maine. In addition, he leaves behind his aunts, cousins, and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at eleven a. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the McLane Riverview Memorial Urn Garden. The family will receive family and friends from ten a. m. until eleven a. m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.
