Peggy D. Fizer

Peggy D. Fizer, 79, of Moultrie, passed away on July 8, 2018, at Magnolia Manor Nursing Home. Born in Dawson, on December 26, 1938, Peggy was the daughter of the late Mary Kate Morgan and James Edward Daniel. Peggy had a servant’s heart, she loved helping others and her nursing career was her life. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Fizer is survived by her son and daughter in law, Eddie and Marie Fizer of Valdosta, her daughters and sons in law, Mary Katherine and Jimmy Head of Cuthbert, Janet and Alan Black of Valdosta; grandchildren, Jon Lee Wright and family, John Knight and family, Amanda Manders and family, Samantha Knight and family, Jeremy Bell and family, Jamie Bryan and family, Leigh Taylor and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Marvin Fizer, a daughter, Sandra (Sandy) Toole, a sister, Janie Tyson, a brother, Judon Daniel and her parents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Pastor Charles Barden, Pastor Lonnie Grant and Pastor Eddie Fizer will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. There will be a private family committal at Oakview/Riverside Cemetery in Albany, at a later date, where Mrs. Fizer will be interred next to her daughter.
