Nolan Dean Gardner

Nolan Dean Gardner, 82, of Hahira, Ga passed on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. He was born in Coolidge, Ga on November 26, 1935 to the late Homer and Valerie Gardner. Nolan attended ABAC and was a graduate of the University of Georgia. Professionally, he was a retired claims adjuster and attorney negotiator for State Farm Insurance. Nolan was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 101st Airborne Division / 506th Airborne Infantry Regiment.

Nolan took great joy from his family, friends, and a good day of work or play on the family farm.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda; daughter, Paige Gardner, son and daughter-in-law, Lance and Kelly Gardner; two grandchildren, Allison and Jenna Gardner, sister, Jackie Nichols. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers George, Jake, O’Neal, and Terry.

Visitation will be held at Carson McLane Funeral Home in Valdosta on Saturday, June 2nd from 10-11:30 a.m. Funeral Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Graveside Services will follow at 3 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Tifton, GA.
