Jessie Clarence Deloach

Jessie Clarence DeLoach, 94, of Valdosta died on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Adel, Georgia on January 25, 1923 to the late John Chester and Fannie Ray DeLoach. Mr. DeLoach was a veteran of the United States Army and served during WWII in the Central Europe Theater. He was a retired postal clerk with the United States Postal Service and was a member of the Central Church of Christ were he had formerly served as the assistant Sunday school Superintendent. He loved music and played guitar and harmonica in his early years and greatly loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Gail DeLoach; his daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Glenn Copeland; his son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Debra DeLoach all of Valdosta; his grandchildren and their spouses, Wayne and Brandie DeLoach, Jennifer and Jaret Johnson, Tracie and Jay Barfield, Michael and Brigitte DeLoach, Ashli and Chris Cunningham, Garrett and Emily Copeland, and Nick and Wendy Copeland all of Valdosta; his great-grandchildren, Hailee DeLoach, Hannah DeLoach, Jesselyn Johnson, Meghan Barfield, Sidney Barfield, Jayson Barfield, Pierce Copeland, Charlie Copeland, Kate Copeland, Caroline Copeland, Collier Copeland, Tyler DeLoach, Millie DeLoach, and Case Moore all of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florene Margaret Parker DeLoach, and four sisters.
Services for Jessie Clarence DeLoach will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 16, 2017 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. John Klimko and Mr. Jerry DeLoach officiating. The entombment will follow in the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 4-6 p.m. at Carson McLane Funeral Home.
