Gary Leon Lambert

Gary Leon Lambert, 65, of Valdosta, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 following a lengthy illness. He was born on January 6, 1952 in Arkansas City, Kansas to the late Lee Lambert and Evelyn Strange Lambert. Gary was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He served 23 years in the Air Force and loved serving his country. He was married 46 years to Marilyn Harvey Lambert and was very adventurous. He liked football and going to the beach. He was of the Baptist faith.
Gary is survived by his wife Marilyn, and his two daughters Jessica (Mike) Rhodes, and Ashley (Travis) Morgan both of Naylor, his grandchildren Allea Christopher, Jackson Rhodes, Ryan Morgan, and Taylor Morgan, and his sister Lisa Graves of Valdosta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Roger Lambert.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
