Christopher John Lerstang

Christopher John Lerstang, 70, of Valdosta and formerly of Beaufort, South Carolina died on Monday, September 11, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 17, 1947 to the late John and Marie Dumbacher Lerstang. He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Organon Pharmaceutical. Mr. Lerstang enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, drawing, art, boating and woodworking. He was also a South Carolina Gamecock fan.
Survivors include a son and a daughter in law, Kim and Alyson Lerstang or Greenville, SC; two grandchildren, Talley Lerstang and Jack Lerstang; his siblings, Paul, Karen, Barbara and Norma.
